Whats your MK1 worth?

Hi all,

Had an interesting call from the dealer that we bought our Black Executive, in Nov 2020.

We have a +ve £2500 in the car, do we want to look at/buy a MG4.

Only thing is that they want our car now, and will get a MG4 is 6-9 months.

Have you had such a call?

Gosh! the resale value of nearly used EV’s are insane at the moment,
it wasn’t so long ago if you bought a new car you would loose money as soon as you drove it off the forecourt.

At the beginning of June I got £19,000 for my 69 plate Mk1 with 30,000 miles on the clock, from Cazoo. They were excellent.

Absolutely silly, but hey, I bet your friend didn’t complain.
Now here’s the thing, I’ve ordered a MG4 SE @£25995, I’ve currently got a 70 reg MG5 Excite with 24600 on the clock, being optimistic, i was one of the very first to order so might get one of the first consignment, however, on the plus side if it doesn’t arrive the longer I wait the higher the value of my car, win win I’d say.
