Wheels & Tyres

Much better, I can't wait to see them on the MG. (y)
Thanks - I’ve spent way to much time finding some that I liked :-). I actually wanted the FFR1's, but they are being discontinued and I wanted the Full Brushed Carbon Titanium finish, so went for the FFR2's in 8.5 (I wanted 9, but they were also out of stock) in the front and 10,5 in the rear.

I'm off on vacation soon, so it will be another two-three weeks before they are installed :-).

Thanks a lot! I wanted these specs (but they were out-of-stock):

9x20" ET32
10.5x20" ET30

So I ordered (and the concavity - that I like - is the same on this brand, independent of the offset):

8.5x20" ET42
10.5x20" ET42

So I will have to run spacers front and rear (20mm front and approx 12mm rear). On the positive side, the OEM wheels will also move closer to the edge of the fenders (during winter) :)

What I fell for is the Full Brushed Carbon Titanium finish. I've had black wheels before and they just "disappear" and are basically invisible in photos :-). And I have a silver GT, so silver wheels is a bit to much silver :-). This finish is really nice: IW Automotive

Oh and I will put the OEM tires on the new wheels and winter tires on the OEM wheels :)

Dammit - the wheel dealer just called today and (finally) said they were not able to supply my wheels (and they are out-of-stock everywhere, I will get a refund. So annoying - I really liked them and now I'm back to researching wheels :)

Next update. I haven't received my refund yet, but I ordered new wheels - none the less
:). This time from Raffa wheels (RFS-03) and their are actually TÜV approved for the Cyberster, they are Forged (so only weigh around 10 kg) and they are reasonably priced :-)

I will get the rears (10x20 ET35) soon, but the front (9x20 ET30) is backordered, so I will not get those until the spring, but that's ok :-)

WOW! They will look, awesome on your motor. Look forward to seeing them on.
😎🙂👍

Good you now have the offset you wanted in the first place. What about the bore, available in 57.1? Most brands I'm looking at, will need hub centric rings...

Did you measure the maximum offset in some way? I see your front wheels will be 16mm more outwards, and rears 17mm.

Yes - I would have liked a bit lower offset, but they didn't have it (unless I went for 10,5 ET26 in the back, but that would probably be a bit too much), so I might add spacers, but won't buy them until I've mounted the wheels to see how they look :-).

I've used hub centric rings on my Model S (Vossen), X (Concaver) and 3 Performance (Japan Racing) with no issues, so I haven't even checked. The dealer will supply a mounting kit and bolts.

I measured several times and have had dealers do the same. It's hard to do it precisely and I might want to lower the car later on, so I actually think the wheels I've bought are quite perfect.

The measurement from tire to fender is around 22 mm in the front and 33 mm in the rear (full disclaimer :-)).
