on the subject, anyone knows what happens when a pedestrian or a vehicle is detected in front, the car brakes or it just beeps the warning ? can't really test it ...

If you are in ACC, it will brake, if not it beeps in a panic.

It will also beep and then apply heavy braking as part of the forward collision control if it considers the high likelihood of an incident.
Sometimes this has been seen as unwelcomed braking on occasions, if the driver fails to react quick enough.

Yes, I'm using that too. Doesn't feel very intuitive though. But maybe I should just accelerate head on when parking, waiting for the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system to kick in
