Hi all, I meant to publish sooner, but I am not great at keeping up with forums so you have to forgive me if I am not on here very much, but I thought this might be helpful for those buying an MG 5 EV for the first time.

Has anyone else noticed a messy 'gasket' between the wing mirror and the car? Unfortunately when I picked up the car I did not notice it (first time I'd bought a brand new car) and the service department are still 'getting back to me' about putting it right (I must admit I have not chased them up much either). I was just worried that some rain might get in.

I am only guessing, but do you think the cars are shipped without wing mirrors and then they are put on by the dealers and hopefully these sort of issues will get better when the dealers get used to the car? I have seen a couple of other pics of other fives for sale which suggest that it was not just my car.

Wait till you see the underside of the car!
Its not what you call neat.

SWMBO's 5 looks ok, a very slight wobble on the gasket.
Interestingly my ZS doesn't seem to have a gasket there.
