Wing mirrors

Hi, does anybody out there know if you can fold the mirrors in without locking the doors, as on previous cars I've had you could do this on the mirror adjuster control knob. Any help would be appreciated as I like to have them folded when going through a car wash.

From the manual:

"Electric Folding of Door Mirror
Rotate the knob to the middle position, and push the
knob down. The door mirrors will be folded automatically.
Pushing the knob downwards again will return the mirrors
to their original position."
