Wire from Front to Cabin

I am trying to run switch wires from the front to the steering column. In any ICE car I have had a choice of looms which run through the firewall to the cabin to use, but looking in the MG4 I cannot see any with easy access.

Has anyone else found a route to run a couple of switch wires?

This dude has put some switches in the steering column, 1:35 shows a pass through in the firewall, seems to be behind the 12v battery maybe?

I had actually seen that video before but disregarded the mounting position, as the XP has variable vents in the grill. I must have glossed over the cabin access.
have to modify the supplied loom, so will adapt it to only require a single wire to go through the firewall. That just means connecting the High Beam supply to the relay and then switching the earth.
