I've had to spend so much time there with various warranty issues that I should have my own chair! Off there again in 2 weeks for an alarm that randomly goes off (mainly at night) and our 2nd replacement door handle due to switch failure.

Maybe it's because I drink so much of their coffee each time I'm there lol

Odd one, i gave them the reg and confirmed it was an X Power so who knows?

I am certainly not a valued customer, last car i bought from Hendy was a Focus in 2003 and they serviced the Leaf a couple of times.

Definitely a coffee tax then! Won't be rushing to purchase any new vehicles from them in the future although they do have a very large empire.

Obviously different dealers, different prices. For the same service. My quote is, £144. Which I thought was ok.
Plus I'm not one for, shopping round and round. Just to save a few quid.

I reckon anything around £130-£150 is perfectly acceptable, mine was £123.60, with Drive MG, but that was way back in March, prices will definitely have increased since then.

Had mine done today at Hendy Poole, had a hybrid Clio as courtesy car which did nothing to improve my opinion of hybrids.

I think they did the LKA recall update and they did upgrade infotainment to R67 so hopefully a bit more stable and no more bluetooth gremlins.
Re inflated my tyres back to 40psi also as they dropped them.

He asked me pretty quickly into the conversation so did not get chance.
Gave it a good clean at the weekend, blacked the tyres etc just to drop the hint also.

Ta, not sure what happened there,, corrected.
Going on a longish drive tomorrow for a day out so will see how LKA behaves etc.
If all is well now as i expect it to be the next time at Hendy it will be’ Do NOT touch the software’.

Whenever I'm asked if I want my car cleaned I ALWAYS say no. Probably be just about ok on a light coloured car but darker paint shows all the swirls and scratches they put on the things. What I've learned over the years is that "it's not their car, they don't care."

Yep R67 seems stable and Bluetooth behaving so far, LKA is fine now, a beep and a gentle corrective resistance felt in the steering wheel.

Just noticed on the car screen there is no slider to adjust charge level, but it works in the app still.
I might be wrong but sure i read this somewhere but cannot find the info.

That error usually means that 1300R63 (and maybe also R67) has been applied via USB, but the person doing the update has forgotten that the car still needs to be connected to a laptop running SIPS so that a config file can be updated.

Alternatively ... I'm not sure if the "slider" needs to be tapped rather than dragged.
