XPower in shop, Trophy on loan

Sorry gang I’ve been too busy to get here for a while.
Having a tidy up with my emails, decided to drop the dealer a line checking in on ER 4 offers. Had a surprisingly positive response. Went in to them this morning, had a test drive, I’m afraid to say I’ve jumped ship!
3 months and 1800 miles on my XPower, negligible cash input from me, signed the dotted line and next Monday collect…..
MGS5 Trophy in Camden Grey, spanking new, £100 pcm cheaper than the XP. Same gmfv, in fact a little less.
Will be collecting my pension pot on the next 2/3 years so will pay balance off then.
Best part is this: MG mailed out a very short window (must be registered, paid and collected by Monday 30 June). Deal was 2.9 APR. Compliance kicked in and the Apr was too low. So they upped the Apr and cut the cash price to keep monthlies the same.

It’s a stonking car the MGS5, best one they’ve made yet. And at £21300 for top spec and met paint an absolute steal.

MG seems to have a stonking £9k - £10k off for MGS5 sold in June, there are a least a dozen on AutoTrader at the moment

Just a shame no full length OPENING sunroof (front half, anyway) like its predecessor. That was a really nice feature. MGS5 is pretty damn all product anyway and RWD which I feel all enjoyable EVs should be as too much torque steer or tyre scrabble otherwise. The pano roof is available in other markets. Never sure why manufacturers do that. At least offer it as a paid option. All built on the same production lines in the same factories. I think the normal MG4 & XP are available with sunroofs in other markets also but not in the UK.

Agree. Do like a Panoramic Roof. Preferably opening.
