To be fair, don't think some bother and don't blame them. It looks great.
And would only void, anything to do with your steering, nothing else. And almost certainly, nothing will go wrong.

I'd be more worried about voiding my insurance in the event of an accident happening whilst navigating a roundabout. There's no way they're paying out once they see that yolk on a none progressive steering system car...
