Well I’m glad I just set out. It’s been a fine run. Snowed a wee bit between Callander and Strathyre. Beautiful snow coated hills and loads of climbers' cars adorning every lay-by.

The temperature has varied between zero and minus three but the road surfaces have been excellent.
