So for the last couple of months I’ve been trying out and giving feed back to a developer based down the road in Dublin whom I met on a Zappi forum, nice guy and I like what his app does.
Now he does not have anything other than a Zappi, no solar, battery nothing else but he wanted to make use of the data Myenergy produces through the Zappi and have it in a more usable format. I’ve been working with it and given a solar user perspective, I’ve not got a Myenergi inverter or battery so it does not show me real time solar production or battery charging, but it shows when the grid is being used particularly for charging so I can see costs specifically for the car separated from the total import. Likewise it shows exporting and factors that into overall costs.
It has the ability to backfill data from in my case the installation of my Zappi ( September last year) andproduces reports over a number of time periods taking into account tariff pricing you enter
In the settings menu, if taffifs change you simply update the pricing.
So at this point he wants to widen feedback from more than me and has gone to Beta testing,he’s looking for feedback from users, in particular those with a Myenergy Zappi in their installation, I mentiioned it to him last week and he’s found the data but he expects it will have some bugs until it’s been tested by users. Likewise those with Myenergi inverters and batteries, any feedback welcome.
This is a link to the app Zevvi, feedback option on there, few pictures of it and some of the data it shows below.
