MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

My dealer is due to have the 4 in next week but an interesting development has me asking myself do I want to trust MG when they talk of February deliveries of the MG4 ?

In Ireland the price of a Tesla model Y has dropped 10k in price ( 5 k drop to under 60 k triggered the 5 k EV government grant ) and are now just shy of 53 k euro ,while still around 18k more expensive than the top spec MG4 , I’d be sure of having one by February 2023 , preference is still for the MG4 but I’ve very low expectations for delivery being on time

The model Y is certainly better value than the ID4 or EV6 right now

I don't know about others but I've nearly lost interest in getting this car now... We ordered in May, so not much of a wait compared to some, but Christ... No updates since missing the delivery date (or before)

We actually took an order from November so technically coming up for 12 months now...

Tempted to sack it off and buy another petrol wagon!

10-12 months looks typical at the moment.

My lease company are quoting 12 months for new ZS orders.

The wait is common for factory orders across the industry - the dealer/MG shenanigans during the wait, and the false dawns not so much.

I'm starting to feel the same tbh i spoke with my dealer again today and said if it's not here or i haven't got an official eta by start of new year i am done and will go out and buy a petrol

its not the dealer's its mg just been complete fudge tards like i said in previous posts its simple as this

Mr jones your build week 47 and your have your car by week 52 and will be shipped via so and so here is your tracking surely in 2022 they have the technology of doing so

You can already effectively buy this car. It's just a Stelantis platform thing, so it's a Peugeot e-2008, basically.

But the Jeep seems to have a similar range to the long range Mg’s, confused as glyn Hopkins said only being sold in Europe ?

My order number from Octopus is 300006xxxx and I've been told end of November supposedly
