I ordered through Octopus salary sacrifice about 4 weeks ago and got confirmation yesterday of delivery for 15th May. This was a stock car, so it may be worth seeing if they can get you one, assuming you’re not too fussed about the spec and colour

I’m happy for you but a bit annoyed. I told them a few weeks ago I’d be happy to accept another model, or spec and was told I was on a list. I suppose you being a new sale was more important.

ah that’s really frustrating if they didn’t give you the option. I’d actually ordered a Corsa back in August which got delayed and Vauxhall couldn’t give a build date, so the MG4 was to replace that order. I hope you manage to get yours sorted soon

When I called them, they could basically only offer me the SE SR in blue, which I was happy with. Would be worth giving them another call to see if they can do anything for you

I wanted an SE SR in blue, it was my preferred choice and within reason (say by August) I'd have been prepared to wait for it. But my dealer had one at the showroom and I drove it off five days after my test drive.

Just had a call from my dealership. It has landed in the country and is awaiting transportation to the dealer

Edit: timing suggests that it was probably on the Galaxy Ace if anyone is interested in tracking vehicle carriers.

Got an excited sales rep phone message a week ago saying my red MG4 Trophy was at a UK port. He wondered if I wanted it by Friday. Glad I didn’t sell my current car yet as no news of delivery from the port and he’s no way of finding out where my car is in the delivery queue

I also ordered through Novuna, they were no use but early on I’d had to confirm details to a lease company called Holdcroft. I was able to call them to get status updates using my novuna order number. Worth a shot?

Holdcroft are the dealership, Stoke in my case. They know slightly more than novuna but only really provide meaningful updates when prompted
