MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

PHEV doesn't compare to a full EV, it's like apples and oranges. There's tax to pay and fuel to still be reliant on most of the time.

I'm swapping the i3 Range Extender and my wife's petrol Qashqai both for a ZS LR Trophy Connect each.

The costs to drive the BMW are vastly less (2-5p per mile instead of 20-23p) and that's convinced my wife to go EV. 200-240ish miles we're expecting from it should be about right, much less then it's limiting for our jobs.

Will update u once we get it back. Garage very apologetic and helpful
There's a pattern emerging here when using certain rapid chargers!

The channel tunnel one a few weeks back seems to be something similar. Is it something to do with how the rapid communicates with the car?

Sounds like MG UK/SAIC need to investigate this one as a matter of urgency.

We did get a communication error on the charger screen before it all crashed

I hope it gets sorted quickly for you. Be interesting to know what the issue was as it's cases like that that don't inspire confidence.
That's fine, I don't think we need to spend all the time talking deliveries when no ships are actually due and this problem could potentially affect us all. I for one, am interested in the problem and more to the point would like to know why its happened and what the solution is, be that a software update or a temporary work around. 🤔

I’ve just been to the silver link Wallsend North Tyneside branch and they have about 10 and they said they are getting more on Monday and Tuesday all sold to people who ordered in August.
is that the SR or the LR didn't think they launched he'd the SR until September?

Be handy if we were reminded of what you are collecting/what they have 10 of ....... MG5? ZS EV? HS PHEV?

Read this earlier, and my first thought was 'I hope my car is on a boat already'. I am surely going to hell in a hand basket

Anybody know what ships are already on route?
DRIVE GREEN HIGHWAY is from Japan, but did call at Shanghai, maybe to drop off, although it did stay in port for 25 hours which could mean it was loading a lot of cars.

IGUAZU HIGHWAY was in port for 2 days which is probably the best bet for MG's.

What is the incident rate of MGs being loaded on to a boat when it passes through Shanghai - might be worth compiling a hit list, so to speak.
