Ordered ZS EV SR Trophy in Battersea Blue from Greg Mitchell Motors, Victoria Bridge on the 4th April. I was told it would be delivered in August
 
Hi,
I ordered ZS EV LR Trophy in Black.
Ordered 15-12-21 from Arnold Clark MG Stirling.
Original delivery date March, then late May....updated today to October!!

When I got the email this afternoon it felt like I'd been kicked in the nuts!

They gave us an original due date end of March /April 2022
Them that was pushed back to June 2022
Now pushed back again to August 2022
 
I have a feeling the projected dates of July August may well be close. China is invoking a strong lockdown. I'm not sure where our cars are built Europe or China, but SAIC do have a base in Shanghai so if it's near there, it's possible that production is very behind. Robots may not be able to catch Covid but still requires human checks. Regardless of where built, parts probably do come from China. So add all that to our import delays it could well be a long wait. I wonder if they would consider a discount for loyalty!!😂

If you have placed an order and it's not in the sheet (or I haven't updated this sheet from the other threads), just pop a message in the thread with the following information:

  • Model
  • Colour
  • Order Date
  • Dealer and location (e.g. Baylis MG, Gloucester)
  • The date you collected your car (if you're one of the lucky ones!!)

If you're on the spreadsheet and you've collected your car, then just reply with the collection date.

Note: The stats only account for the MG ZS EV UK Models, but the orders will still show on the left. let me know if I've made any mistakes. I'm hoping that the spreadsheet will automatically be the latest version in this post.

Order placed 25th March 2022 but was on pre-order by the Tunbridge Wells MG dealership (not sure when that was)
Estimated delivery at the time of order was end of July but was told delivery date not “locked in” on their system and that it could be anytime between then and even September/October.

I would say it would make sense to add the 10 digit order number to the spreadsheets. I can't think of any way it could lead to scamming, but feel free to let me know of any.
I read that the 10 digit number is the official MG order number and not just a dealership one.

I too have a 10 digit order number on my order form.
