MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

I ordered my ZS EV on 06/08/21 through Motability when should I expect delivery
If you ordered in August I am assuming that it is a gen 1 ZS as they weren't released to even pre order until October... I can't see why you wouldn't have your car by now if that was the case as there are plenty of Gen 1 models kicking about...

Yeah there are people that have ordered in December/January that are being quoted September
I know it makes no sense. My brother got the update the day before I ordered saying his was now September instead of April. When the dealer told me the system was estimating the 1st September I thought that was optimistic.
They can lie without hesitating. In the web chat she said it will be end of June if I ordered 1 today!
Which year though? To be honest a few of the dealers I called said they were expecting stock in June/July. This happens to be same dealers who have adverts to this day saying in stock. What they failed to disclose was that the stock they will receive is to hopefully satisfy the ever growing list of unfulfilled orders and not cars they have available to sell on the forecourt come June/July.

I would definitely chase the garage up regarding your order asap, I tried to order one via motability on the 27th August and was told taking no more orders on gen 1 so maybe been lost in system or you should have had it by now. On the bright side they might give you a gen2 instead...

Popped into the dealer at lunchtime for a catch up, was told that it's now late Aug, early Sep - which seems to tally with most people on here (ordered 4th Dec).

They have a Vauxhall dealership next door (same company) and the lady I was speaking to said that their lead times are 12 months.

A sorry state of affairs for everyone really. I'm extremely fortunate that I have my leaf in the meantime, but certainly have sympathy for dealers and buyers alike!

Ah, another fellow Baylis customer :)

we just cancelled our Mokka from the Vauxhall dealer because they delayed us to September for it.

June this year.

Can’t see any blue ones😩😩😩😩😩
That image likely be year or few months old. I was trying to see if any of satellite images or platforms provider also inform time stamps to these images or not.

Yup, I've found them pleasant to talk to - it's mostly been a lady called Gemma who's always been polite and approachable.

I've found that it's usually been me to talk to them rather than the other way around, I guess that's just because they feel that there's nothing to tell me - but each time I've called them, the date has been put back. I guess that's perhaps another reason why they haven't talked to me.

The car market across the board is a bit crazy isn't it. Sorry to hear about your Mokka. Gemma did say that she was told that some Vauxhall parts are made in Russia, so that's obviously not going to speed anything up.

Been quoted 24 months for two vans and a 4x4 in work so it isn't going to get better! The only chance have you have of beating the MG delivery is finding a cancellation for another brand of EV or buying used 👍

I wouldn't worry in that respect, for some reason colours don't show up properly in those images.
Google earth image of my old house showed a red car for years and I never owned a red car while I was there...

Cars in this are grey, blue, black and red respectively. Blue looks white;

What we and by we, I mean you..need to do, is if you’ve ordered a silver EV LR ZS, you need to cancel it, you never really wanted one in the first place, there not as good as you think they are, silver is a rubbish colour, you want a blue one, much nicer, that blue colour, cancel that horrible silver one, the blue ones will be here long before a silver one, once you’ve done that, it’ll push me towards the top of the list and once I get my silver car, I’ll tell you how bad it is and you’ll all be glad you ordered a blue one…🤔😂😂
