Ordered blue ZS Trophy connect LR ordered November 28th not built yet. WTF? Had a test drive again just to get me to love the car again. Reassured me that all cars will be given to customers in chronological order date

Really doubt they’ve built any Connects at all in the last 6 months, other than the demos. They’re saving the chips for the European markets since we treasure islanders will not cancel or sue for delay compensation.

Maybe they can do that with what arrives at the dealership but I don't believe they've fixed the raffle at the UK port.

Really doubt they’ve built any Connects at all in the last 6 months, other than the demos. They’re saving the chips for the European markets since we treasure islanders will not cancel or sue for delay compensation.

If Connects are such an issue, I don't see why they don't have dealers contact customers and offer them the option to lose that extra and save £500 . I think a good few would go for that if they could get on the road sooner vs an unknown delivery date.

What get's me is that it's not as if they're delivering everything but Connect - they appear to be behind in general.

My update from MG this week:
"Your order is currently on shortage awaiting factory build and we cannot confirm an exact arrival date until production has been confirmed. There is currently a longer waiting time, which could take several months..."

This is in reference to a car that was due to be delivered this month

Had an email from my dealer today (Brighton). They advised that my date has pushed back from 17th July to 22nd August. I ordered on 18th March.

My first suspicion was that it was now coincidentally 4 months wait again...But I was expecting the date to be pushed out further to be honest, so who knows.

I believe that's true. There will be people like me though who don't need to worry about that, so effectively could switch.

I wanted to order the trophy LR connect and my dealer told me at the time that they are having great delays with the connects and frankly the extra amazon music/live traffic feature wasn't worth the extra £500 or long wait if you use a smart phone. So went for the standard trophy LR in black which they had on pre-order from January. Still ETA is a question mark since it’s been pushed back already with a September most likely eta

Right guys and girls I’m cancelling btw they do take £150 off the £500 deposit for admin. I said what admin has been done and they said it’s just for admin no explanation and the car isn’t even been built yet. Utter disgrace. Good luck though to whom stays for the long wait

If this is Perry’s I also see they are selling 3 ZS EVs that are due for delivery shortly.

I have purchased an ICE from them, by taking over a stock order last week. Car is apparently at Portbury due for delivery next week.

Well what I’m reading on here, about people that ordered around the same time as me (December 17th) told March, then May or April, by salesman, went in the other day and said to manager about the 3 ships in dock, for him to tell me the car wasn’t on the ships, so will be surprised if I get it in May-April, with others on here saying they have been told September or later, but I guess, it’s anyones guess? When I placed the ordered I was told it was ”on” a slow boat from China, for a March or April delivery…how can one person say it’s on the ship and the other say it’s not?…they have no idea if it’s built yet…manager said he didnt even have a VIN number for mine, does that mean it’s not even built yet?…I did the same as others and had yet another test drive to see if I still liked it…I do…just the bloody waiting that’s doing my head in…same as everyone else I guess..
