Bulldog MG - MG Dealer Discussion, Opinions & Experiences

I've had four cars from them over the last few years. Both the sales and after sales teams have always been fantastic.

Bulldog MG - MG Dealer Discussion, Opinions & Experiences

I had the same. Real pity as qthey are a good bunch of people and really look after you. Many smaller dealers have been dropped by MG in favour of the large groups who I have found to be largely useless in terms of customer experience. At least they are remaining as approved after sales.

    Decent rubber mats

Hi, Regarding the mats could I ask how they cope with rain and mud, do they clean up well or do people put rubber mats on top? Many thanks.

    Parking charges at MFG Thirsk

Thanks for the heads up. I stopped at a shell garage just off the M25 st Alban's and noticed a sign warning max 30 minutes stay. Just needed the loo but there was a long queue for the chargers. I wonder how many people get fined. Seems a daft rule if you are spending money.

ZS 2020 new chip app support?

Hi, You can use a solution called OVMS. It will give you information on charging, range etc but won't let you do anything like remotely start the heating. https://www.openvehicles.com/#

    ZS EV SR SOH

Hi everyone, Our 22 SR with 8k miles is now showing 94.45 % SOH. It has only been AC charged, frequently to 100% and not left at a low or high SOC. Now the weather is warmer I was expecting the GOM estimate to increase, however the best is 193 miles heater off and trip reset. I have never...

    Windscreen Sun. Shade

Hi, Has anyone found a good sunshade that fits on the inside? Tried one from Amazon and it is pretty useless. There's a custom one from snap shades but that's quite expensive. Many thanks in advance.

    V2L Test. 7kW output...

Hi, This looks very interesting and thanks for taking the time to share. I have solar and a Tesla powerwall. I was wondering if the V2L could be connected to the solar input on the backup gateway. This allows for input from solar and other micro generation at 240v. If it were possible that...

    Loss of brakes

Hi everyone, Driving home this afternoon, nearly there when a few error messages popped up about hill descent control etc. Thought it strange, pulled up at the house and realised the brakes were really poor, wooden brake pedal and despite pushing really hard almost no stopping power. Pulled...

How to remove interior light housing

Thanks for your help. Yes it's facelift without sunroof. Also have trophy with sunroof. I think you are spot on, gradually ease it out then push lugs in. I will have another go when I feel up to it. Decided to fit front camera as existing one started playing up. Will keep you posted.

How to remove interior light housing

Hi, Does anyone know how to remove the interior light housing in the roof liner? I've carefully used a trim removal tool and felt round it, seems to have lugs at the front and back. Didn't want to apply too much pressure in case I broke something. I'd like to get behind to see clearance for...

Fantastic Solution to mount a rear dash cam

Hi, Had a further offering up session yesterday, the Nextbase rear camera does fit ok and seems secure. Due to health issues I've not fitted further but good to know it's an option. I have booked Cleevely EV to do the installation on both our cars. The picture is good but as the bracket is...

Fantastic Solution to mount a rear dash cam

Hi, I had a quick look earlier to get an idea. Offered up the rear camera and it looks like it will fit well on the bracket and get a good view. This is with the Nextbase rear camera. I think it would get a slightly better view if mounted directly on the rear window as it would see down more...
