It has been unseasonably warm for most of March-October this year. Cold weather like it is currently will significantly reduce range. 3.3 miles per kWh (57kwh useable i believe) isn’t that out of the ordinary in cold weather depending on driving style.

Slashing your own prices doesn’t help you control the market when you have limited supply. That only works if you have stock to be able to take share from your competitors. It makes no sense.

Seems like nonsense to me unfortunately. Why would MG significantly reduce the price of their vehicles when they are selling like hotcakes and there is no supply ?

You can read exactly the above post with “MG” swapped for “Volkswagen” or “Ford” etc on many other car forums over the years. Ford literally released an EV this year which had to be recalled because the entire windshield could fly off ! £50k RRP…...

Don’t think your post is fair really. Car manufacturers don’t do a recall out of the goodness of their hearts. The two recalls/fixes for my car were related to the mild hybrid battery wiring (it could set on fire) and the suspension (it could fail completely). Recalls are generally undertaken...

What makes you say 3.2 is poor in those conditions ? There are many EVs which cost significantly more that return similar or worse figures at 70mph. EV6 and Ioniq 5 included. Cars like the original Audi e-tron which can return as low as 2 miles per I would say is “poor”, for example. Teslas...
