They would be rather foolish to cut the cable whilst it's in use.... The bigger issue is a tethered charger cables which can be cut when the owner is away. Although it's a bigger faff, a non tethered wall box is the way to go (in my humble opinion!).

Perceived quality is always a tricky one, as it tends to be in the eye of the beholder. I'll be trading in a car that now retails for £44k, as such, my perceived 'quality-ometer' is lower as a result.

It's obviously difficult to second guess what MG are thinking (!) but maybe dealerships with the bigger pockets are getting more models? Clearly Waylands have shifted 21 models, assuming everyone completes their order.
