Your car needs to be in READY mode to be looking after the 12V battery the same way an ICE car would if the engine was turned on. If you put your foot on the brake pedal and release that is enough. I managed to flatten mine when I was installing a screen protector in the car by not doing this.

For a test turn on Mobile Hotspot on your mobile phone and connect the car to it. Then try the online services. Have you accepted the live service agreements ? There is somewhere in the settings that needs doing to get stuff to work I think.

There is no way the statement "un-flustered by crosswinds" holds true. They must have driven it on a low wind day. I wouldn't say it has a stability issue but if the wind picks up you will feel it.

@Lovemyev When I started the car this morning the in car display said the 12V battery volts was 13.9 (12.48 while sat unstarted and cold according to my tester) and it went to 14V shortly afterwards.

SOC had gone up from 70% to 80% overnight while the car was on charge. Just spent 1hr 30mins driving to Leeds so battery should be 98% or so now :D

Exactly the same for me - mileage and efficiency :)

Its main purpose is to pre-heat the battery for DC rapid charging in low temps. It also improves driving capability (not range). It will 100% reduce your range. Only way around this is to preheat while charging if you can be bothered to work that out lol.

I don't think this is true, I have seen it around 150 miles and 800 miles - the two times I have 100% charged. Charged to 100%, on the smart meter device it was showing charging at the full rate and when it got to 100% it went down to half that for ages and then stopped. That had to be balancing.

7kW charger on AC, or a ultra fast DC charger you see at service stations etc.

Its not the best system. It doesn't like certain lighting conditions, fog, rain, oxygen :)
