I prefer 100%. As a noob it's hard to want precision..but understanding things better...
I have my calculations in % required. And not in km.
For example, a city near mine i frequently go - i know it consumes 4% to go there. So it's 8% to go and come back.
It allows me to do 10 trips to be...
Fast charge you say lol... That doesn't exist in Ecuador. Fastest is 5~6 hours to go from 20% to 80% and that is currently only available at home.
Then we have commercial charging points only for Kia owners (yep, those greedy dudes...). When you buy a Kia EV their app adds your account that...
Oh i did go 90kmh max. Both initial trip to backhome trip. As thats the allowed max speed in highways here. There were moments it dropped to 85 or went up to 95 (up/downhills).
Around ~56mph if you need that number.
Hmm ive never done this so i didnt know..now that i do, 100% is a must for...
Hey guys... I just got back from my first "long trip" in my mg4 450km "long" range...
And here's my experience:
I had it charged to 80% last night. Trip wasn't planned otherwise i would have charged up to 100%. So this was kind of improvised trip with my kids.
I analyzed the km required for...
So anyone purchased one of these and installed it?
How does it look? It feels cheap or oem-like (durable, organic, not "attached")? Easy to install?
I really like the top spoiler. Not big, not small. I dont have any spoilers on mine. And $500+ for the dual wings european people get is not in...
There's no fast charges here..and no MG specific public charges (there's public charges but for KIA only - its lame)
And i do plan my trips but sometimes unexpected trips shows up screwing up my initial plan - so there's that.
I had 95km left and came to my destination on ECO mode with AC off...
Yeah but mg4 is not the same as tesla... Ive seen some videos comparing and the "km left" is not precise - usually lower than what it shows and speeds down faster than it predicts. So its not trustworthy
I live in ecuador and there's no snow in here. So why would i use that mode...?
Ive been thinking what makes that mod different than custom - setting as driver prefers - over this snow mode? Does it do something clever?
I may run someday into mud or sand. Snow mode would do anything or what...
What if... I run below 5%... Even 1%...
Does it have a "reserve" like gas cars?
Or once it goes below 3% it may fluke and drops 0% suddently and shut down?
I have 95 km left, and need to go and come back to a place that is 37 km... So thats 74 km... Leaving me lower than 11km left and...
Care to explain what are we looking at? Both rear and fronts? Whats the name of this system and how is it different? I want to know a bit more about my vehicule which fascinates me the more i drive it.
P.s. your comment is not sarcasm - i hope 🤪
So guys ive noticed this car rides so well sometimes it feels lightweight...
Is it lightweight compared to gas versions?
Sometimes when im going in a bridge and it starts the slope down - and im going at 50-60 kmh i notice the rear tires lift up and makes squeesh sound (like power stopping) -...
OEM seats are intact. My pics are from the "seat covers" i got from aliexpress. Damaged & wrinkled from day 1 and the wrinkle didnt go away :P (guess it traveled folded for waaaay too long to fix itself)
The ones i bought doesn't entirely cover the seat... In fact they are over-cover like it goes on top. And doesnt fit the head rest. Better than nothing but not what i expected.
Driver side - side is already damaged. So yeah if you can @Rolfe share the link of the exact item you got - let us...
Not to be paranoid... But im testing normal mode to see its efficiency... And last 80% to 24% it got almost 7 hours on and 191 km...
60% runs 191 km... That means 30% goes for 85km, so 90% up to 255km
That is nowhere near 450km i was promised...
Now its not that i want to run 400km before...
I changed tweeters and they sound very good now.
I changed front speakers and have great tone range and volume.
I don't really mind about rear speakers as im not playing back audio with 4 channels (rear vs fromt) - just stereo
So adding more speakers to the back is to make all the mid-ranges...
