Thank you for the reply.....looks like the dealer either didn't bother to check whether the car needed an update...or trying to make money out of me. I got the car in July 2022 ...never tried a rapid charge maybe if I did it could brick the car
It was in for its first service...that's why I was wondering if there were any updates as it's now 1 year old...I'm sure I've read somewhere that an update was released this year
As anyone had any updates carried out on their ZS EV Long range trophy in the last year...as when my car went in for its first service none were done and when I asked I was informed
There were no outstanding recalls or campaigns on your vehicle. Any other updates are done at the customers...
I had a bad experience with them...even The dealer Ombudsman said they were out of order and should give me a written apology and a £2500 refund...I got nothing
Email requests sent to relevant departments...OZEV directs you to the DVLA....so sit and wait see what I get back....thank you all for your help....Will let you know how I get on

If its one of Cars2 I don't stand a chance been asking for 2 weeks for a copy of the original order and haven't received a reply seems they are ignoring my emails...
He won't budge ...they've done me out of £2,500 ...I'm convinced they got it and want me to pull out so they can sell it at full price and pocket the grant...if only there was a way I could find out that the the grant was applied when the car was first ordered
Anyone on here know whether the order form completed by the dealer when ordering an MG ZS EV last November...December listed the application for the EV Grant or was it a completely different document
Ordered in November called me first week in June and told me they hadn't applied for the grant and if I wanted the car it would be £2500 extra...cars now here
Just found this in an email from cars2 in Febuary when enquired about my cars delivery date
"What we can say is they are price protected and the government grant is secured, and they are trying to get them to us as soon as possible and it's just as frustrating for us as it is for the customers"...
