Very impressive charging speeds for a budget car, in fact it looks like the charging curve beats some of the higher priced cars.

I had hoped MG ditched their basic “6 speaker” system and went with a decent one with a sub, especially for the Trophy trim. I would have happily paid extra for one.

Public consensus is that the 51kwh battery is LFP chemistry. LFP is said to sustain more charge cycles at the expense of a slower (Rapid) charge speed and being more sensitive to low temperature.
