Got it now. Seems very flaky as to if it shows up and how many taps.. Maybe just repeat taps needed… Mine is the same versions as yours.

Tried the in car Nav for the first time and the voice is hilarious - sort of quaint chinese girl… Could not find any other voice options. Anyone see that choice?

Yes, it is just another quirk. I too use Carplay (for Waze`) and Siri for calls a lot so I am content to stick with it. Especially as I discovered the correct button to press to engage Siri and as you say Right side wheel button but long press. Have you found a button option that ends phone calls?

Been playing around with Carplay and finally got Siri to work. Before that I tried to use IM to make a phone call but she said she did not have my contacts as I was not connected to BL. So connected to BL and IM downloaded my contacts, but because I was connected to BL carplay was disconnected...

I had read about this issue on DAB before I got my car. However, my DAB seems no different to the one in my Ioniq 5 which worked well.

I find it handles at least as well as my old Ioniq 5 AWD.

The answer was posted on FB - Get in the car, but don't press on the brake pedal. The screen should come on, without going into READY mode. Using the left hand steering wheel pad, press 2x left 3xright 2xleft. Showroom mode box should come up on the upper screen. Press to disable showroom mode.

Strictly they require - YOUR VEHICLE is fitted with an immobiliser security device CONFORMING to Thatcham Category 1 standard.

Thatcham Cat 1 are on almost all cars since the late 1990s -it is the simplest of systems.

However, your normal insurance should cover you for the first year.

I just checked my Ioniq 5 service plan that I bought 4 years ago. I paid £634 for a 4 year plan and now just the 4 year service is near £600!

Yes, it has been mentioned on the forums and FB for a while. I asked MG about it a week or so ago but really do not expect a reply!

In the past, inflation alone was enough to make these plans worthwhile.
