Hi, sorry for delay in reply, been away. The power glitch seems to happen when you press the brake on initial start up after the car has turned off. My problem turned out to be a duff camera battery so you should not get any problems with a new camera.

Sorry for the delay getting back to this. I found the problem. It was the battery. It was not holding charge. When you press the brake to put the car in gear you will hear a quiet click, I assume this is a relay working. This also seems to cause a quick disconnect and reconnect of the USB...

I have wondered about the voltage fluctuation. The blue light indicates that it is charging so the power is still there. I have looked in the cam handbook but there is no information on what it would do if the voltage went high or low as far as I can see.

Yes, I zero'd the trip and turned the heater off and up it went to 212 at 80%. I guess the lower figure is what I will see through the winter. Roll on summer!

Yes, come to think of it my GOM normally showes around 212 after a charge to 80% but last night it came up short at 184. Interesting. Maybe I should try resetting the trips. My charge routine is the same as yours and for the same reasons.

My 80% charge level showed higher than usual at 194 miles this morning, it used to be 186 if I remember correctly. Anybody else got this?? Another app bug I expect. Not been out to look at the car yet.
