Just to point out that Tesco charging points have increased their prices from 28p per kwh up to 50p. Not sure if this is everywhere or just my area (pembrokeshire) but worth keeping an eye on it.

If you mean the home charger(3 pin) then it goes to 100%. Although this method is no good for us now as we have moved and can't access the 3 pin socket. Also on long journeys ours seems to be the only car not charging fully. Everyone else's goes to 100%.

Hi all, our MG5 LR only charges to 95% on all chargers, is this normal? As soon as it gets 95% it stops charging and releases the plug.

It was sorted, an update seems to have solved the problem.

Just to let you all know, the MG dealer had a look and it was an update issue. They updated the computer and its fixed.

Hi. Our MG5 was slow charging for the first few months of getting it. We took it in to MG and they updated the computer for us free of charge and since then it charges lots faster. ?

It was a 50kwh charger. It was genie point not pod point.

She is now on her way home. The car has been on charge for 1hr 15mins and its increased to 61% from 26% on a 50kwh pod point, surely that's not right..... It normally charges 80% in an hour. What's going on???

Aa have arrived. The car is now charging. The breakdown guy can't understand why it wouldn't charge. So far we've had nothing but disappointment with this car. We live in a semi rural area and the infrastructure just isn't there yet. Loads of 7kwh chargers but they are useless unless you leave...

Hi all, my wife is miles away from home. There are 3 possible fast chargers she can use, she's on only 15% now after travelling round to the chargers in our area. None of them will charge the car even though they all seem to be working.. Could it be a fault with the car? If so, any suggestions?

The salesman at the MG dealers. I bought it thinking I would get to visit family about 210 miles away from a full charge. ? That's not looking likely now.... I'm a tad disappointed.
