My 2023 HS PHEV would not switch off or move yesterday with a warning sign related to Steering Lock displayed. After almost giving up, the problem disappeared and I was able to drive home. The car is now with my MG dealer. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks for your advice. The fix seems to have been neatly done with the windscreen widget and cable in the glovebox removed. My internet ability does not run to uploading photos but I've found the manual that came with the car which describes the entertainment system.. I hope I can understand it!

My MG HS PHEV had its first service last week. The DAB fix was done as part of this. Can someone explain how to use the radio now? I cannot make sense of the symbols displayed. Should an instruction book have been supplied?

Interesting. My car is booked in for its 1st service next week and I have asked them to look at the rear door lock problem and DAB issue. Fingers crossed!

Any company will respond if adverse customer reaction affects sales. We need to understand what the proposed solution actually does. What is an RBRM Module? If cars currently on sale have full DAB capability why can't this be provided? Etc.

I'm not sure I understand what MG say. Presumably, MG cars being sold now have full DAB Radio capability so the supply of the correct components must have improved. Nor do I know what the UK legislation concerning DAB Radio requires. Can anyone help?

Thanks for this. The dealer concerned has confirmed they will service my car and that they are urgently trying to expand their servicing capacity. I have complained to MG as I suspect the root of the problem is insufficient dealers.

Poor customer service is universal. I could quote several bad experiences with UK and US companies. Whatever you think of Chinese companies, they are certainly not stupid. If it is clear to them that an issue may affect future sales, they will respond. That is normal commercial behaviour...
