I have never had to power down my car but my wife's garage disconnected her battery today to change her clutch (*) resulting in her radio needing a password reset.
Got me to a thinking (dangerous territory 😁) and not ever disconnecting my ZS battery, do they require a password reset on...
Main London to Edinburgh.
Crossing North of Doncaster between Bentley and Arksey.
During the day they can be closed 45 minutes in the hour with wait times of a few minutes to as long as 20.
They are famous round here and watching 10 - 12 trains go past is not uncommon 🤔🙄

I was sat in my car and a railway crossing, the sun was shining and quite warm.

I always used the "cause control" on my old diesel car, I found it a lot more efficient so I started to use it on my ZS but since I found out that it didn't regenerate I stopped.
That was at least 18 months ago.
Another thing that put me off was it was quite aggressive. I tend to accelerate...
Is that about £15 a month over 48 months?
That is cheaper than what I am paying for years 3, 4, 5 & 6. I'm paying about £22

When I bought mine 2 years ago it was a very similar buy as your option.

I do lots of long journeys...

I'm very happy with my car and the saving compared to my last car which cost £120 every ten days to do the exact same journeys as I do now in my EV at a fraction of that cost.
In my first six months I compared my bills and I had saved £800 that was 18 months ago so the saving is even more.
