Bluetooth devices

While checking the connection to the car with my phone, besides the normal SAIC connection there is another device SAIC_w_Car. When I try to connect it says an app is required. Any ideas.

Anyone know what the above device in the Bluetooth device list might be? It's not the same device used for Bluetooth audio/handsfree, and if you try to connect to it, the phone says "an app is needed for this". Anyone? Bueller? Anyone? (Gen2)

It seems to be the electronic key when the physical key is not there, can't seem to find the code to connect to it

There is an option to link your car to your phone through an app.
ismart.
You pair your phone to the car when sitting inside it.
On the screen there is an option to link using a QR code.

When I first tried it with mine which was about 18 months old I found it was still tied to the previous owner.

After advice on here, I contacted MG and gave them my car vin number and they disabled the previous owner and I was able to activate it about 2 days later.

here in Colombia there is no coverage so, binding does not work, I've not been able to use thye MG i-Smart capabilities. Anyone know how I could bypass ir? not even using a VPN

If there is no coverage I'm not sure how it connects. It's not Bluetooth as far as I know.

itried a different country and it bings the VIN, nothing else so, somehow it works... partially. I need to find out a way to make it fully work over wifi

4G through one of the local carriers. In Australia I believe that it is Vodophone
