Autoglass eventually replaced my windscreen with a Saic original screen and managed to program the new electronics in-house. Took three hours all told. They use a Bosch electronic system.

I was told at their reception desk that they were giving up the MG franchise and would only be doing warranty work on cars that they had sold. They weren’t interested on repairing my car as they had not supplied it. I was very disappointed as the next nearest agent is some miles away.

Sorry to hear that Bryson’s are giving up the MG franchise, and weren’t interested in working on my ZS EV as I hadn’t bought it from them.

The idea of the diagnostic check before any work starts is to fault check. Seemingly it’s not uncommon with Land Rovers being a particular problem.

I hadn’t used the ACC as I rarely use it. Autoglass stopped the screen change and took several photos for their records. The car is going back to them this weekend to replace the screen. It’s suspected that a tywrap on the loom when snipped also cut the cable at manufacture.

I have noticed that although the pedestrian alert is on there is no noticeable sound emanating from the car. I have checked the plug for the sounder which is pushed home OK. What am I missing!

OctopusEnergy installed my smart meters very quickly about a month after switching to them. Unfortunately they disconnected a week later. I’ve been waiting since September to have them reconnected but they have promised me compensation as I was waiting to change to Octopus Go to charge my MG.
