Please tell us the FULL software version number, starting with SWI. If yours is SWI133 or similar then R40 is very likely the latest.

Which means 7kW (6.6kW actually) as I doubt that a) the OP has a 3-phase Type 2 cable, or b) their car has a 3-phase onboard charger. :) So a 1 hour stop will add 6.6kWh at best. Better than nothing, especially for free, but won't give much of a comfort blanket feeling. :)

Which exact model of MG4 do you have? An SE SR will not make that round trip on one charge, certainly not at this time of year ... an SE LR or Trophy LR probably will (if you charge up to 100% overnight tonight)..

So the rear one you push from the top (or lift from the bottom), and the front one you push from the side ... ergo the FM is actually correct. ;)

I don't think we've seen that specific document before, but it seems to relate to the first "fix" they tried which was proven to not work.

According to that screen mine charges at 13.8V to 13.9V ... in the iSmart app when I'm charging the car it shows at about 14.2V.

This would be my thought too. (IBH tends to be on by default, so you have to manually turn it off. It's under the cog symbol of the Discharge tab under the Battery tile).

The usual cure-all is to disconnect the negative lead on the 12V battery, wait 30 minutes, then reconnect it. (Making sure both leads are properly tightened - negative and positive). After doing this you'll likely need to do the steering wheel and window recalibrations. Car in READY state...

I'm a low mileage owner (<13k miles in 3 years), and mine's an SE SR, but tyre wear on mine seems quite even ... the rears are slightly more worn, but there's not much in it. (~5mm on the fronts, ~4.5mm on the rears). Must be the type of driving I do, means the steering turn causes as much wear...

This is where you'd connect to (in the interior lights housing) to get a 12V supply. So the adapter cable would need to be compatible with that black plug/white socket section. :) (Unless I've got it wrong and it's actually the blue plug section) 🤷‍♂️

If I'm reading it right, it adds to/replaces the plastic housing which contains the car's windscreen camera ... these are "handed" between the LHD and RHD models, which you can tell by the position of the triangle on the windscreen. 🤷‍♂️

Yes ... turn fully left, fully right then return to the centre. You'll also need to reset the window controls ... press and hold fully down to open, when open keep holding for 10 secs, then lift and hold to close, when closed keep holding for 10 secs. Repeat for each window. (From memory)

FWIW, in my car the charging voltage on the screen typically shows 13.9V (when I'm sat in it in READY state and HVAC is running). In the iSmart app I've seen it as high as 14.4V.

I wasn't sure if a 23 plate would be like that ... but then again the date of 1st registration can bear no relevance to the build date. :)

Is yours an SE? If yes and it is a 72 plate then it may well be an early Phase 1 car. (Phase 1 = no rear wiper). The first batch of SE models that arrived in the UK were mis-built in the factory with the same rear screen and windows as the Trophy spec model.
