Sat Nav-voice volume

Just used my sat nav for the first time, and the voice volume was low.

After some searching (quite a lot actually) I found the answer to the volume control. Not under settings, as might be the logical answer.

No "swipe down on the screen" where you find a whole new world of settings (including what they call "voice settings"

Sometimes I despair at the logic of this vehicle. Is it me ? Great when you find the right answer, but boy do they make it far more difficult than it needs to be.

There, I feel so much better, getting it off my chest.

This setting can be changed in the "normal" settings pages as well, but the swipe down menu is a good short cut.

You can wait until it talks and then press the up button on the steering wheel.

That's what I do. (Though I rarely use voice navigation anyway - Google Maps in my case as there is no inbuilt satnav in my SE).
