I did see a few posts suggesting that if Auto-Hold was used rather than (P)ark that might do it. I did try a few but to be honest often times I'm not concentrating on the sequence of doing things to work out what I did in what order!
But when I get the car back I'll test what you suggested.
I took mine into the MG garage first thing yesterday (It's about 20 miles from home). I had a courtesy car and it meant I cold spend time with the local peregrines albeit the temperature was rather cold!). By 3pm I'd heard nothing and chased them. Basically they's not been able to "recreate the...
I think this happened after I upgraded to iOS 18.3 (Now 18.3.1). CarPlay used to work although it always was (with my MG4 and now Cyberster) a bit glitchy - Waze working perfectly but playing a podcast downloaded onto the phone via PocketCasts or BBC Sounds usually just don't work.
Anyway...
It seems the four air vents for cabin ventilation (middle) only have the ability to direct the air flow up or down and close the vent. It doesn’t seem possible to move the air flow left or right. Or am I being really clumsy?
Well last night and this morning the alarm went off 8 times. Finally had enough and braved the rain to disable the alarm at 5am. Taking it to the dealer on Wednesday next week. Hope they can sort it.
I picked mine up yesterday. Ordered in October and January 31 was on the paperwork. So it was dead on. Though I had received a call a couple of days into the new year saying it was at the port and when I chased it 25 Jan it turns out there had been some mix up with the transport which had been...
I'm picking top my Cyberster Trophy in 3 hours (woohoo!). My MG4 was insured via Churchill for which I was paying about £450 per year. They quoted me on their on line quote tool about £950 for the Cyberster and talking to them on the phone they "offered" me about £700. But I'd been quoted about...
I ordered mine from Grantham end of October. I was told 3 months for delivery so about 3 weeks ago I e-mailed and they called me 2 weeks ago tomorrow to say car was in the port so wasn't long to wait now.
I have no information on which ship or any tracking information.
I remember when the first...
If I remember rightly when I used to IP rate electric motors the digit relating to water doesn’t mean water cannot get in (ie stay dry) but any water that does get in must not cause the product to fail.
Well it’s showing 135 miles. It’s wrong since I’ve done well over a thousand miles since the service. It just seemed to suddenly reset itself half way home yesterday. The thing is the range it’s showing is impossible as it should be 234 miles at 100% and it’s showing 279 miles at 94%.
My MG4 short range purchased March 2023was serviced in the middle of November and it had one software update (they were very unclear about this but I had at least one). I found that the range had been reset so wasn't;t taking account of current driving and temperature.
Yesterday driving back...
Hi. I'm getting the Cyberster early next year and prompted by your post may be interested in ABRP. I have Apple devices. Why would I (you) need to access OBD rather than use the phone GPS?
I noticed today that a saved location on my Waze app when connected to the MG4 had disappeared. - It began with Y. So I entered it again into the app but still couldn't see it. Later when disconnected I saw that record was there and checking Google found that Apple applies a limit to the number...
