Realized that my Duck Duck Go app was causing the problem, uninstalled app and ismart worked

I noticed a problem with ismart earlier this month, i get a msg 'sorry, the ismart app prohibits VPN'. I don't have a VPN and the app was working fine beforehand. Maybe the update has caused this? It is now useless

I can verify this is an MOT failure.

The car (MG4 SE) has been triggering this alarm for the past 2 years. has been in 5 times to sort but the fix doesn't last. Is in at the minute for 3 year service,MOT and to fix alarm. Will have been in 2 weeks tomorrow and the net result is MOT failure because they have been unable to fix it...

After parking car and locking doors lights flash and stay on. Checked all doors closed and tried again same problem. Anyone any ideas?

Dealer said they upgraded the S/W and charged the battery, dont think its a new one. So far its ok.

On the first attempt the charger did show a fault ,on subsequent attempts it was showing normal charging status. Just went out and tried again to see the exact sequence of the lights colour and surprise surprise the thing starts charging normally. Don't really want to charge during peak times...

Tried to charge using granny cable, blue lights did not turn green and eventually went white. Screen showed 'charging connecting' but nothing happened. Gave up after a few attempts and tried again after a short drive, still no good. This has happened before , the service centre said they applied...

Did a test on my SE driving 124 miles mostly on the M40 and a few miles on A roads. 57% battery gave me 124 miles, working out to 218miles over 100%. When I started out at 100% it suggested 100% would give me 292!. I think thats because most driving I do is around town and it shows up as over 5...

Battery problem occurred again after 3 months or so,with the red engine icon lighting up, this time took it in straight away as also had a problem with charging. Isuue on forum as 'Unable to cjarge my SE' After software updates and charging the 12v battery they say it is fixed. Will wait and see.

Thanks I mentioned this to the service dept, it turned out an update to the VMS solved the problem.

Problem solved by doing a couple of software updates, took 3 days.

Yes an HS wouldn't mind swapping. Only problem is £1000 excess in the event of an accident.

Yes I had that problem and they used a mobile charging pack to drive me to the service centre. Yes they will take you to the nearest service centre.
