Sorry senior moment……

Not having a go m8!
I knew exactly what you meant.
My VXR8 with straight through pipes was pressing the loud pedal though!!
Excuse the old poor phone quality, but hear the noise!!🤣

Interestingly enough, the ‘involvement’ most reviewers refer to is related to the lag of power delivery and power band of ICE which gives you what an electric engine can’t. Or can it?
Look at the Ioniq6 N. Fake revs, fake sound. Fake gears. BUT it is like a game: there’s a rev limiter. There’s also gear change lag. And the noise is pretty involving.

To be honest, I wish they would stop banging on about involvement!
I'm pretty sure most of us knew what we were getting into when buying a performance EV.
It's still an involving drive when I want it to be, and as much fun to hustle around the country lanes in my back yard, as anything else, performance oriented that I've recently owned.

I love the sound of the motors going about their business, and the steering feel is well judged IMO.
I mean, I had a GR Yaris on my "maybe list" before the X Power.....
I reckon that would have been pretty involving!!!
No.
Horses for courses.
"We" all know what we want, and as a rule, end up with exactly that.
I certainly don't want fake revs, fake sound, or anything else fake for that matter.
I love driving " the future" as I see it, and the fact that I can power my home with it makes it more involving than any previous ICE car I've ever owned.👍🤣

1) Sport Mode,
2) Foot on Brake & Acceleration Pedal
3) Wait for power to reach 66 (i think it's 66) [it will jiggle its butt when it's ready]
4) Release brake
5) Giggle
Just to confirm,

Sport Mode,

Foot on Brake & Acceleration Pedal,

Release Brake,

Launch?
In mine I have to really stand on the brakes - it's not just a standard press. Enough for you to force yourself into the seat.

Left foot hard down on brake pedal
Right foot down on "go" pedal
Wait for 66% and jolt
Release brake
Giggle
Go back to start line and collect stomach

Mine delivered yesterday and last night down to Seaford next to beach (lovely & flat, plus very quiet)

Had two goes of correct LC procedure, don't know if I got to 60 but the sheer speed of acceleration and presumably G-force definitely made me feel in the guts. Fun though and smiling all the way home.

Next time I'm "playing" I'm going to endeavour to switch on the "Track" screen.
Set for street, just to see it working.
I keep forgetting that it even has this function.
I think it's a live map and g meter combo.

Just be interesting to see the G from a launch 👍
Don't think I'll do a launch on way home from a curry etc

Yes, I did have the 4 point G-force chart showing after selecting track mode/street. Looks cool, didn't see if there was a report etc to show data, but could be there somewhere. I'm still playing with buttons. Waiting til finish work at 4pm and then will be sitting in it outside the house until the family come looking for me!
