What is the age profile of MG4 owner drivers?

A similar poll was started in July 2021 but it could be interesting to see if the age of the drivers has changed.
And yes I know the original voters are now a couple of years older 😁

Thanks Ian. That poll was about EVs in general. Let’s see how the MG4 profile differs.

Am curious about how old owner drivers of the MG4 are. Its sporty looks and speed should appeal to boy/girl racers but I get a feeling that many forum contributors are in their 60s. Do vote. Thank you
At 65 Im still a boy racer at heart! Have always liked cars with sporty looks etc. Although had some not so sporty ones as well, a rust bucket of a Renault 9 back in the 1980’s comes to mind!

Pah renault 9.... luxury.. Wish some of the moaners on here could have a run round in my old mini 850, that'd sort them out... overtaking ha... Me and my mate (ringer for Geoff Capes, so not a lot of room to spare) barely making it up the Leanig (black isle). Electric windows, LKA, heater... radio........:ROFLMAO:

Mini huh! Luxury. My first car was a Ford Pop. No heater, vacuum wipers, wooden floor. LKA? Needed all three motorway lanes in a high wind.
I like our MG4
Bet you had to get up at 4am, sweep the lane of cow xxxx before walking 40 miles to school…. (Monty Python inspired)

I remember those vacuum wipers, nightmare - kept stopping! Mind you, my first car was a Hillman Minx, with seatbelts and a column gearshift, so bit like a Tesla, really.
Mine was a Triumph Herald 12/50 in Florentine Blue. No heated rear window, no radio, no inertia reel three point seatbelts, no air bags but it did have wing (not door) mirrors as an added extra.

If you had the headlights and heater on together with the after-market heated rear window that I fitted, when you stopped at the traffic lights so did the engine. The dynamo ran out of umph at low revs.

Would I have one now....NO!! I like my creature comforts too much 🤣

Yay. Thanks for changing. I'm in the 41-50 pot now! Not 51 until March. Can we change it to "drivers" as me along with many others are leasing/salary sacrifice.
I worded it deliberately as i wanted to gauge the age of those who chose an MG4 instead of

Those on salary sacrifice have a much smaller pool of cars to choose from. Personal buyers can buy anything from an Audi to a Vauxhall. So I worded it Owner / Driver as this group of people made a conscious decision to buy an MG from a very large list of alternative.

But this is a bit of fun rather than a rigorous statistical excercise. All votes welcome.

You'll not find an ideal answer to this, as there are too many variables. In our case it was simply cost & availability, at the time of purchase (sept 22). We have access to NHS lease solutions via salary sacrifice, but at the time nothing was availabile for 12 months forward, so bought our MG4 to secure it (but we're so happy with it). If I look now at the options via salary sacrific for delivery in the next few months - its silly money for £50k+ vehicles (accross the range - ID Buzz, EX30 315Kw, XC40) at around £450 / month for everything ( insurance: 4 drivers of any age, tyres, breakdown etc....), ive seen MG4's for less than £300 all incl.
