Outside temperature gone doolally.

Look at post #23 and call me Mystic Meg!

And I quote
"I've now got to put myself into the hands of the dealer network, and I really didn't want to do that☹️"

No! STOP IT! ***.

Stop calling me Mystic Meg 🤣🤣🤣

The main question raised by all this is: Why is the app icon for 'Electric Power Steering' displayed as a rocket?

Not agreeing its the main question but will concede its a good question!!!🤣

I must conclude that they are conveying the speed of the steering response and not giving us a chance to deduce that the icon of a steering wheel would bring us to the same conclusion.🤪

You never struck me as a Meg. Other things, but definitely not a Meg 🤣
That's because he doesn't know Jason Statham ;)

I had the same error with temperature sensor and no heat. The workshop reset the temperature sensor, they did not replace it with a new one. I asked the workshop if this was something I could do myself, the answer was no.

Different to my problem m8.

I had high heat or extreme cold.
Nothing in between.

I think it's roughly the same error. It started with me having to turn up the temperature higher and higher, but in the end it didn't work.

Nope.
Different problem.
You say you had no heat?

I had loads of heat.
My sensor was not reset, it was replaced.

My cars Climate defaulted to either being
Fully Hot or Fully Cold.
Hi equaled Very Hot.
32 equaled Very Cold.

In the beginning I had to turn the heat up almost to max to get the heat to work at all.
In the end, the car did not provide any heat. Both your problem and mine are caused by the outdoor temperature sensor showing the wrong temperature. So in my mind this is very similar.

What are you english people saying? oh same same but a little different.
