Back door not unlocking?

I'm pretty sure the normal operation is when I get out of the drivers seat the rear doors unlock - is that right? I've noticed a few times recently when I've got out and tried to open the back door from outside to get something off the backs seat and it is still locked. I have to lock the car and unlock it again to open the door.
 
Do you mean this one? It is set to all doors, I've toggled it off and on again in case that helps it remember :ROFLMAO:

I have had this happen twice so far, both times were with a front passenger and both rear doors remained locked, don't know if it was down to the order or timing of the front doors opening.

I don't think that is what those settings are for, Unlock using keys = fob and Door Unlock Modes = Exterior button on door handle
I have the fob set to all doors and the button just drivers door.

99% of the time all doors will unlock when exiting the car
 
... I've met a few MG4 owners (whilst charging up at a DC charger) who have had problem with the central locking - so this may be the same issue?
 
I've had the same issue already a couple of times. My wife opens the door and gets out of the car before me. I thinks it's then when I try to open the back door, the back doors won't open. Quick push on the interior unlock button to open them.
 
I've had this issue too on occasion where my passenger and I can get out of the car without issue but the back doors remain closed and I have to lock and unlock the car again to open the back door. That only happens occasionally but it's another item on the list of "I hope a software update will fix that"
 
I’m in the club as well. I can’t figure out why it happens occasionally, but I want to say (from memory, which could well be faulty) that it has only happened when I have a front seat passenger, but no others. I will definitely check the passenger situation the next time it occurs.
