Wow, where are you? I'm still looking at 6ºC and 2.5 miles/kwh. (And I don't actually believe you're getting that in an SR, so could you update your forum profile?)

Southampton according to their profile. :)

But yes - that must be at least an SE LR.

Good-bye winter indeed. Today finally got a granny cable solar charged 15%, 80-95% - woohoo!! Fairy dust season starts 😁👍🌞

....and yes, need to reset history to get wltp, which I am doing.... now ( when I can find it 🤷)

I'm getting anywhere between 4.5 and 5.5 miles/KwH at the moment, with outside temperatures around the 10-12°C mark, in a 9.6 mile journey. That's by dint of turning off the A/C and just using the heated seat instead. Even when it was only 4°C outside, I was getting at least 3.2 miles/KwH even with the A/C on, because the journey concerned (my drive to work) is mostly through small villages where the average speed is around 25 mph at best. Tbh, I absolutely love it when a tractor pulls out in front of me and I have to go slow. I just sit there and watch the m/KwH go up. I did manage 6.2 briefly yesterday, but that disappeared when I got to the one bit of road where I can go above 40mph.

Living in Cornwall we also benefit from the "tractor factor" but the best return we get is during the 6 weeks summer hols and tourist grind the local road systems to a halt, dual carriageways and all. I was regularly hitting 9 in my Kia Soul and imagine it'll be the same in the MG - something to look forward to I s'pose 🫣🚗

Wow people are getting a bit hung up about updating my profile. The toxic forum strikes again 🙄
As per others, it's not toxic - it's about ensuring members get the best advice when they ask a question. We instinctively look at the member's profile ... if we see a car selected that cannot possibly be relevant to the question then the whole process is delayed as we have to ask which exact model the question is about.

tl;dr ... it's for your (and everyone's) benefit to have correct details listed. :)

Me & wife will be a couple of those tourists in July/August. We are going to stay with family in Truro & have friends just near St Ives. So if you see some lost looking wally in a Camden Grey MG4, that will be me 😁

We recently had a trip to Guildford & back to Portsmouth & had a drive along the south coast. Time we was back home on the Isle of Wight we covered 247 miles

Left the island fully charged, went to Guildford, back to Portsmouth where we topped the battery up

Car ran brilliant, fantastic on motorways at speeds, no problems charging

Averaged 4.4 miles per kWh 👍

I think my best miles per kWh were while on holiday on the Isle of Wight last year so if your were held up by a blue SE SR around Wroxall - sorry!

Off to St Just in June so will be holding the other grockles up 😜

Lately I've been getting about 307 miles after a full charge when switching to ECO mode (it ends up less than that in reality but that's the estimate I have been getting)

The sun giveth but also the sun taketh away. We southern hemisphere dwellers are seeing shorter days to get our EVs charged cheaply.

Luckily I live in the sunshine state (it's weird to hear Florida USA claim that title), so it never gets really cold here, but it does get cloudy for days on end with the pesky La Nina weather pattern.

Life is harsh sometimes 🌞

I'll keep my eye open for you. Brace yourself for a 9 m/kWh.
I can't complain really having been a holidaymaker for 20 years before moving down from Wolverhampton 21 years ago.
I'm lucky enough to have got a job as a minibus driver for special needs pupils so tie in with school term times. Don't have to use the roads during the 'busy times'. Honestly you wouldn't believe the difference between mid-summer and mid-winter on the roads.

aaaand St Ives, midsummer?? Braver man than I 😂

Oooh, St Just. That's off 'the end of the line' 😉.
Grockles is Devonian-speak. The Cornish equivalent is emmets : Emmet (Cornish) - Wikipedia
