I got my MG4 from Wakefield on 30th Jan. It had software revision 24 installed - I think we are up to 32. Is that acceptable do you think? Has a PDI been done?

I've just found out that its Flexible Vehicle Logistics for my dealership ...so its not always BCA, and you will need a VIN number if want any hope of chasing down when your vehicle might be delivered.

So - to my mind and from research on here, it would seem that MG4s are delivered from China to Bristol Portbury Docks. Is this always the case I wonder? The main transporter carrier is BCA for MG? Is this also right? To my mind, you should be to query when your car is due for transportation...

I would be interested in a manual if possible.

I have had to ring my dealer (Wakefield) no contact ever made my them. Pretty bad really.

They sound a lazy lot at Grimsby. But it hardly surprises me today. Trying to get good customer service in this country without people fobbing you off is almost impossible.

I think dealers know nothing until they can actually notified by MG on the day - then they pass that on to you, the customer. I think whats confusing is that, some people seem to think they know their car is on a particular transport ship and that gives off the impression they are privy to more...

Me too - I'm waiting for my Orange Trophy too, they said sometime in November - ordered end of Sep. They have never given me a date. I don't think any of the dealers know until the cars are processed through on a pre PDI check at Bristol. A dealer told me it takes about a month to process them...

I nearly bought one from there - but the manager was a stingy git, and wouldn't even throw in some mats - so I bought one from Wakefield - who are throwing some mats in. I was appalled at the price for this paint protection product, seems like a right rip off. Its not like you can see it working...
