I swapped to Bulb's EV tariff from economy 7 as I worked out we'd save about £20 a month. I'm now on Octopus's standard EV tariff and I do about 1,000miles a month costing about £35. All you can do is crunch the numbers and see if it's worth swapping for you.

My charger will not let me charge between 8am & 11am and again between 4pm & 10pm due to "EV Smart Regulations". Maybe yours has something similar?

Bizarrely mine would charge on a granny plug but not the box on the wall. The garage said the error messages that appeared were very random and nothing to do with charging. We think a power cut whilst plugged in caused the issue...

I had issues with my gen 1 refusing to charge. When the garage got hold of it, there were loads of random error codes, almost like the car had got it's knickers in a twist. They deleted all the codes and it now charges fine. Fingers crossed your issue is something as simple as that?!

I've got projectEV and it's not the easiest to use, and does seem to struggle connecting to WiFi unless the router is right next to it.

So, it turns out we had a power cut when the car was plugged into the charger which turned my car into a "stressed teenager" (technician's words not mine!). They discovered lots of random fault codes which they cleared... and we charged perfectly overnight!

And here was me hoping there was a secret menu I hadn't found 😂

Yep, charger accepts it. I've even watched it turn on start flashing green but nothing happens until I unlock/relock the car then the green light changes to pulsing and it starts charging. I've turned the unit off at the fuse box to restart it and still no joy ☹️

Do we have scheduled charging settings on the MK1?
