I had this problem from the first day I got my MG 4. The dealer took it for 2 days and said it was sorted but it started again on the drive home from the garage. A month later the car had a software update and the tire pressure problem went away. About 9 months later I did have one false...
Admiral doubled the cost of my policy this year (a week ago). Confused.com said £800 was the cheapest (more than Admiral wanted) but Moneysupermarket came up with £360 through AA. Now with AA.
The story was also in the Times:
Police forced to run malfunctioning electric car off the road
And I saw it on the BBC website. It was a MG ZS.
I recall seeing similar stories in the past about non electric cars having accelerators jamming and being unable to stop. I always wondered why they...
I got the recall letter in January and my MG4 went into the dealer on 30/01. They said the software update kept crashing the system and they would need to keep the car for a second day. The same happened on day 2. They said they would recall me to get the job done but a month later I’ve not...
I had the same problem with my Trophy long range yesterday. +3 outside but temperature was at 28 to get any kind of warmth from the vents. A/C on too as I find if I don’t the car mists up quickly. Maybe a/c cancels out the heater.
Adjusted my headlights and all good. Very easy to do and makes a huge difference (I don’t seem to be blinding others). Makes me wonder why they were so badly set when I picked up the car.
I’ve stuck tape on the far side of the stalk over the “rear” of the switch. It was the rear part of the switch that my fingers were touching on changing between high and low beam. No issues since. I think it needs to be raised with MG. The dreadful design could have very serious consequence.
I wonder if it is possible to adjust the headlights beyond the headlight leveller range? My Trophy replaces an e-golf with LED headlights and the difference is stark (The golf was far better). Are the Trophy dipped lights LED and if not can LED lights be fitted? Full beam is good. I’m in...
Yes, I've tried that.
I’ve tried that too. headlight leveller set at zero (2 front seat passengers only) and any other settings make it worse (by bringing the lit area closer). Out in the dark again this evening- avoided accidentally switching off the lights by touching only the end of the...
Has anyone else accidentally switched off their lights when driving at night? I’ve done it 3 times when dipping the main beam - nightmare. The switch is far too accessible and easily flicked for something so critical. I’m going to have to put tape on it to stop it happening. It’s a recipe...
