The updates to the MG4 model range are coming quite quick. Especially when many of us may have not long received our orders from when the first version of it was released last year. Usually expect these types of updates to come at a mid year cycle of a model's life span. I think they are good...
Like a few others have mentioned about the revisions to the model range, hopefully some of these new (software obviously) additions are added to current cars. Non software things, well that's just annoying that many of us have just missed out on having them!
I have a 23 plate Trophy car...
Like many of you I have owned a few cars over the years and know each will be different in this regard, however I find that the air vents on the MG4 are just not best placed to allow air to flow directly towards the face (probably more of a bother with the hot weather recently). This is despite...
I actually quite like the car and other than some of the software quirks that a number of others have reported (and I just hope they do get sorted somehow and not too far into the future) I've no other complaints really. These things aren't too detrimental for the car overall, just a bit...
If unlike in my area they actually fixed the machines more timely than say the 2 months plus our fast charger has been out of action (despite reporting it). In fairness with a home charging port I'm not relying on public charging now but if I did in this town, I'd be out of luck!
I'd have maybe taken an orange if I could have but opted for the grey with the choices I had available. Glad I did - it looks subtle and quite classy and as someone else said earlier in the thread, goes well with the black side panels. Saw the blue in person and does arguably look better (to me)...
You can edit the settings of the custom drive profile (as I have) to remember brake, steering and regen settings. That way at least when you want these things to stay as they are each time, just put that mode on (left star button for me allows quick cycle though drive modes to custom).
It raises a fair point about the inconsistent approach to software upgrades though. I got my car around 2 months ago. I know it's not on the latest software version from checking and like others I'm getting a lot of the similar bugs. I feel that it won't be addressed unless I go to the nearest...
I'm in Scotland and waited quite a while for my card too. First time around they hadn't registered the order when we chased them up and then it was a further 2 week wait after the first 2. By that time we near enough had our own home port put in and I was getting fed up going back and forth to...
I find it's constantly forgetting the stored favourites on dab or FM and a lot of the time (might be where I live for signal) dab doesn't always work reliably anyway!
Have definitely seen an increase in range from the car lately - perhaps warmer weather as a factor. Have been getting very close to the claimed 270 miles from the car (trophy) in a mix of town and country driving.
I was thinking this exact thing yesterday after some recent hassle with the lka. It would be easy to put it there for quick access and if anything I thought that the blank spaces below the few shortcuts there already would suggest they've left the space free on purpose for future buttons?
It looks great. 👍 I like the current one but in fairness a little raise in the overall interior quality would be a great step too. Very prone to scratches.. everywhere! 😆
Sorry if the answer has long been known and I've not read it but I take it you can't do any of your own software updates from the car without it having to go to the dealer to do? In the settings of the car you can check for updates however when they are available can you install them (much like...
