Just switched over to IO from GO, using Zappi and MG4 via the the Octopus app. Wow it was so easy, just followed prompts and literally 5 secs later it was all done. Tried a test charge via IO and it gave me an hour slot at midday, no problems at all. Now this is what I've all been waiting for...

My Trophy is also insured by Tesco

I keep a microfibre cloth in the centre console just for such occasions, quickly removes any contamination and greasy fingers

ask your dealer for drive away insurance. It's with MG direct and is free. That's what i got which allows you to get home and take your time reviewing ridiculous, outrageous, scandalous insurance prices from across the web. :-)

Hey, good on ya, go drive and enjoy they are wonderful cars. A few niggles here and there but on the plus side it generates a huge amount of 'smiles' as you cruise along. :cool:

I bought my Trophy for a very similar reason, feeding grid with no reward !. However I must say I am so happy that I bought the MG4, its hard to put into words how it makes me feel as I drive it around, just found the love for motoring once again. With the added benefit of not paying for fuel...

I think the majority of MG4's are at the Dealers having the software updated !!...

I had the same with the radio, managed to get it to tune to a station by asking Hello MG, ie tune to station 106fm..... then took to garage and they reloaded the software, everything is now sorted, so rest assured its not a hardware failure, just software bugs, your dealer should be able to sort...

MG Motors UK Affinity go here and register, then when asked for Affinity partner, select the MG car club or MG owners club ( both are about £50 a year membership)....well worth supporting one of the clubs to receive your discount on a new MG4. My local dealer was very backwards in coming...

Before you dismiss the Affinity savings, have you looked into joining the MG Car Club for £50, then claim your £3K saving on a new MG via the Affinity scheme ;-)

Have you looked at the Affinity deals, they are worth circa £3.5K off the price of the car. I got my Trophy for £29950, plus you get a Granny charger and a Type 2 cable thrown in.
