Radio and phone pairing!

Had my MG4 into garage 3rd time today for resolution, informed pc crashed! Still not fixed! Radio doesn’t work 80% of time. I know I’m not alone. Not sure how long I’ll keep this thing!… thoughts?

Their PC crashed? Sounds like an excuse.

How does the radio not work? Does not tune in or what?

I’ve not see anyone have radio issues. Does your phone work ok plugged in?

I’ve spoken to another MG4 owner with exactly the same issue.
Radio just has constant ‘static’ noise, then next time I get in car it works, also keeps dropping the phone pairing.
Had two software updates, without success.
Yes, I can use Apple iPlayer, (once I pair my phone again)

You don’t need to pair the phone to use CarPlay - just plug it in

I had the same with the radio, managed to get it to tune to a station by asking Hello MG, ie tune to station 106fm..... then took to garage and they reloaded the software, everything is now sorted, so rest assured its not a hardware failure, just software bugs, your dealer should be able to sort it. It all works fine now, but every now and then it asks for the phone to be repaired, obviously a few more gremlins still in the system, but all in all superb car
