Just completed a software update by my MG dealer. It took about an hour. The purpose was to improve the connection to mobile phones and make voice searching work to make calls. On completion you are presented with the air/heating controls when entering the vehicle. A nice feature as it allows...

Yes the contacts in the phone are loaded in the car but the voice search cannot find any names you ask to make a call. However it will find a mobile number and call it.

When the phone book is connected via Bluetooth to my Android mobile phone the MG voice can not find any name in the phone book. Is there a solution for this problem. John

The reason the MG ismart app was clashing with my Ohme charger was that the app on the car had not been activated so that it blocked charging unless set for charging simultaneously with the Ohme.

I discovered today how useful the MG app is. When using a public charger you can monitor the progress by sitting in a cafe rather than having to return to the vehicle. Hence I will continue to use both apps simultaneously for charging to avoid conflicts. John

I have found that it is essential for the charge settings on the Ohme charger app and the MG app to be the same. If they are out of step charging may not happen. I would prefer to use the Ohme app as you can have a variety of different charging schemes for different days. This is not possible...

When I activate cruise control the car takes control of the steering some times. Is there a solution for the problem? I have an MG4 trophy long range model. Just completed my first public charging at Bury St Edmunds at Waitrose who had about 10 chargers. John
