Having read the above, all valid stuff, can I say that my car had a strange smell for months when new. We put it down to Chinese plastics. All gone now.

OK reference my previous post on this thread, I rechecked the flap open warning and it’s not doing the flashing lock switch LED anymore. My guess is that the function was deleted as part of the Comfort 2 update.

Maybe play a hairdryer over the clips to soften them first?

The warning is the blue/orange strip LED in the driver’s door lock switch flashing. Also horn bibs when you try and lock the car Not very obvious I know. I found this out ‘cos I’d shut the flap but I hadn’t pushed it fully home to engage the micro switch.
