I have tested this with both an leaf and Zoe with me.. they were both pulling 40kW while mine was getting 21kW don’t get me wrong I know chademo is different from ccs but from the same unit within 20 minutes of each other both the other cars were consistent whereas my mg limped along

I generally exhaust the battery to 10% in a single trip and then try to rapid charge it to get to the second leg of the journey. Originally I thought it would have warmed the battery up on the rapid charge and that would be maintained but it’s still slow charging at the next rapid.

I think it depends on who you get through to. When investigating costs I was offered a discount to fit in around their availability. However, I'm finding their ONXY film to be a little too dark when trying to look out of the windows in the morning and evening.

The battery heater option seems to be an interesting idea and the discussion on the podcast about combining it with OVMS to be able to read the temperature is also interesting. Rather than requiring OVMS though, wouldn't it be prudent to simply ask MG to add the battery temp to the battery...

I was advised there was no need to switch it off, in the same way there's no need to unplug a USB charger from the wall. My podpoint has a key which locks the unit when I'm not using it. Even when pluged in and powered it will not charge any vehicles if the key is in the locked position.

I’d have the garage check the connections to the USB ports.. while I know that garages often blame our cables, it’s important they check the link between the USB port and the stereo
