As posted on another thread, using the Thai app has shown that over the last 3 months, the SOH of my ZS EV has worryingly dropped from 99.5% to 96.34%.
Today I also took it out for a drive consisting of 137.5 miles at 3.9 kw which took the battery down to showing as 10% when plugged back in to...
Interesting that you are still on the original BMS and having the same problem. I'm on the new one (having had the duff one in Nov). My voltage is still showing the ideal 449 though on this BMS update and 93% soc when fully charged up.
Is it best to do a full charge and balance before checking that? I've just set up Torque Pro via links and instructions from the Facebook group which will have the voltage reading for each of the 9 packs.
Mileage is 18.5k so I guess the total degradation for that mileage seems probably about fair? It's more the drop in the last month that is concerning now I'm able to monitor it through the app.
Very few DC charges and none in the month. Maybe even just 1 or 2 this year.
I've done a couple of full ac charges and balances. Maybe 3. I'm doing around 1.5-2k miles a month.
Had the dodgy bms update but during the time I had it I barely used the car so it didn't take much to get it up to the expected 449 volts.
So are we're saying that the usable battery is now 93% of the original 44.5kwh pack giving a 41.385kwh usable capacity?
If so, is the app likely to be updated to revise the % to 100% for this usable capacity when fully charged instead of 93%?
Great work btw.
